The Resurgent Kingdoms is an immersive campaign setting set in the world of Thymaril, a land recovering from a century-long darkness imposed by a council of gods known as the Genesis Gods. These deities deemed that the influence of Shannardonna, Goddess of Good, and Varitos, God of Evil, had grown too great. Their punishment: the slaying of the gods and the shrouding of the world in darkness.
Now, the gods of good and evil have been reincarnated, with Junduul, the God of Reincarnation, reversing their roles. The Genesis Gods have also agreed to restore the light—though each year, for one month, darkness still falls as a reminder of the past.
As Thymaril heals, kingdoms that once crumbled are rising anew. The world is filled with diverse cultures, rich lore, and powerful magic, offering endless adventures for those brave enough to explore. The active influence of the pantheon shapes the fates of mortals, making divine intervention a central force in daily life.

Turn The Key Games
Turn The Key Games is a tabletop roleplaying game publishing company owned and operated by a group of longtime gamers dedicated to creating content that enhances RPG experiences for players around the world. Based in the United States, we produce tabletop RPG (TTRPG) products compatible with industry-leading gaming systems.
Our core product is the Resurgent Kingdoms Campaign Setting, the foundation for all of our projects to date. The Resurgent Kingdoms details the world of Thymaril, the deities who shaped it, and the people and creatures who inhabit it. We have spent years developing Thymaril and its lore—and, to be honest, we'll probably never stop. Creating content is our passion, and we hope that passion results in products that everyone will enjoy and have an incredible amount of fun playing.
Our Goal
Our goal, first and foremost, is to create fun, exciting, immersive, and unforgettable roleplaying experiences through tabletop roleplaying games (TTRPGs). We believe that games are more than just a pastime—they are powerful tools that bring people together. Those of us involved in this company have been friends for a very long time, and we hope our creations will help others forge the same kind of lasting friendships and shared stories that roleplaying games have given us.
To us, gaming is about having fun above all else. We hope the content we create and publish brings you and your friends as much joy as it has brought to ours.
Beyond creating games, we are committed to expanding the tabletop RPG community and growing the popularity of what we believe is an incredible hobby on so many levels. We aim to create friendly, engaging spaces where players can meet, share their stories and experiences, and collaborate across the globe. The idea of people becoming friends worldwide while immersed in our world is both humbling and inspiring—and it drives everything we do.

Combined, our staff has well over 100 years of experience playing TTRPGs. From our first sessions, we were hooked. Our love for these games has inspired us to create new content to incorporate into our adventures for decades. This shared passion for TTRPGs and worldbuilding led us to create a world we call Thymaril. Over the years, Thymaril has evolved, ultimately inspiring us to form Turn The Key Games and develop The Resurgent Kingdoms campaign setting. One thing is certain: everyone involved with TTK Games shares a deep passion for storytelling and creating new elements that enhance the narrative experience.
